Deleting an account

You can easily manage and delete your Babbel account at any time by accessing your account settings.

Deleting your Babbel account will not cancel any purchases or subscriptions you have made through a third party, such as one of the app stores. Before deleting an account, check your subscriptions in your settings and cancel them if necessary.

How to delete a Babbel account using the app?

1. Open your Babbel app and tap on Profile, then the Settings wheel 
2. Choose the Settings section
3. Press the Delete Account button
4. Confirm that you want to delete your account

You’ll receive an email asking you to confirm the deletion. After clicking on the link in the email your Babbel account will be deleted.

How to delete a Babbel account using the website?

1. Go to babbel.com and log in to your account
2. Click the profile icon in the upper right corner and select Profile and settings 
3. Choose Account information on the left side of the page and at the bottom of the page, click Delete your Babbel account 
4. Confirm that you want to delete your account

You’ll receive an email asking you to confirm the deletion. After clicking on the link in the email your Babbel account will be deleted.
