Babbel operates on a subscription basis, granting access to language courses through a variety of plans. When you select a plan, your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each period, ensuring uninterrupted access to your learning materials.
Payments for subscriptions
When you select your subscription plan, you will pay upfront for the entire duration of your chosen subscription period. While our pricing page displays the monthly equivalent to illustrate savings on longer-term plans, all payments are processed for the full period in advance.
For example, if you select a 6-month plan, the full amount for six months is charged upfront, and the subscription will automatically renew for another 6 months at the end of the period unless you cancel your subscription.
Lifetime and voucher subscriptions
If you have purchased a Babbel Lifetime subscription or activated access with a voucher, there are no recurring payments. A voucher grants access for a specific period, while a Lifetime subscription provides ongoing access with a one-time payment.
Paying in instalments
Currently, Babbel does not offer installment payment options. All subscription plans - regardless of their duration - require payment for the full period at the time of purchase. To compare available subscription durations and find the plan that best suits you, please visit the Babbel pricing page.
Payment and renewal information
You can easily review your payment history and upcoming renewal dates in your account settings:
- Log in to your account on babbel.com
- Click on the profile icon in the top right corner and select Profile and Settings.
- Select the Account Information section on the left.
There, you’ll find details about your current subscriptions, including your next payment date.
