If Babbel isn't working as expected on your device, there are a few things you can do to fix the issue.
Web
If you are using Babbel on your desktop or laptop, make sure you have a strong internet connection and are using one of our supported browsers. Learn more about which browsers we support.
Next, please clear cookies for Babbel.com using this link.
If you are still experiencing issues, log out and in and make sure to log in the same way you did when you signed up with Babbel. If you for instance signed up with Apple, choose that option again. Please also double-check that any ad-blockers, anti-virus tools, or VPNs are disabled. Services like that can interfere with Babbel.
If this still doesn't do the trick, please clear the cache for your chosen browser and accept all cookies when prompted:
Please note: Make sure only to clear cookies for Babbel. Removing all cookies in your browser will affect the functionality of other websites.
Mobile
If you are using the Babbel app on an iOS or Android-device, first make sure you have a strong internet connection (preferably Wi-Fi). Then try logging out and reinstalling the app.
Tap Profile, > Settings wheel > Settings > Log out
Next step is to delete the app from your device and reinstall it. You can find the latest version of the Babbel app here: www.babbel.com/mobile. Choose either Apple App Store or Google Play and accept all cookies when prompted.
If this doesn't help, try freeing up space on your device.
Tap Profile, > Settings wheel > Settings > Free up some space on your device
