Keeping track of your progress is one of the best ways to stay motivated on your language learning journey. The Babbel widget makes it easy to stay on top of your daily habits - right from your home screen.
Babbel widget
The Babbel widget keeps your progress visible right on your mobile home screen - no need to open the app. With the widget, you can see your current streak at a glance, get a reminder before if might miss your practice and if you tap the it, you will jump straight back into learning.
To add it, head to the standard widget gallery on your device. The Babbel widget comes in a single medium size and works with both dark and light modes.
Adding the Babbel widget
To add the Babbel widget on iOS:
- Touch and hold the background until the apps begin to jiggle
- Tap Edit at the top of the screen and then then tap Add Widget
- Search for Babbel in the widget gallery
- Select the Streak widget and tap Add widget.
To add the Babbel widget on Android:
- Press and hold on an empty area of your home screen
- Tap Widgets
- Search for Babbel and find the streak widget
- Press and hold it to drag it to your home screen
The Babbel widget is available on the Babbel mobile app from version 21.87 onwards for iOS devices and from version 22.1 onwards for Android devices. If you cannot see the widget on your device, please ensure that your Babbel app is up to date.
