If you’ve taken a break from your lessons or would like to restart your learning journey, resetting your progress could be a good idea. This will clear all the progress you’ve made in your courses, allowing you to start over.
Resetting lesson progress
You can easily begin studying from the very first lesson and clear your vocabulary by resetting your progress in your account settings on babbel.com. This will delete all completed lessons and vocabulary learned in your current language. However, your learning statistics and your streak will remain unchanged.
Resetting lesson completions and vocabulary cannot be reversed once confirmed, so make sure you are ready to start again from scratch before resetting, as this change is permanent.
To reset your progress:
- Log in to babbel.com on your computer
- Click on the profile icon in the top corner of the page and select Profile and settings
- Navigate to Settings and scroll down to the section Reset my lesson completions & learned items
- Click on Reset my lesson completions now
Redoing lessons
If you prefer not to reset your entire progress, you can also redo individual lessons and complete the courses once again.
Please do not delete your Babbel account - doing so will result in the loss of your entire account, including any subscriptions and past invoices. Once an account is deleted, it cannot be restored.
