Our product offers courses for different skill levels as well, starting with our Newcomer courses (for the absolute beginners) all the way up to Advanced courses. If you’re returning to a language that you’ve learned before, we suggest you take our Refresher courses. These courses are designed specifically for jogging your latent memory.

Because each language has distinct features and a unique cultural context, Babbel’s course offering is slightly different by language. We encourage you to explore our product and see for yourself if our courses fit your needs. Here’s how to do it:
Desktop
- Visit your dashboard
- Click on Explore at the top of the screen and then Courses by level / Courses by theme
- Browse through the course categories
- Click on a course category to see the courses inside
iOS
- Open the Babbel app
- Tap Explore in the bottom navigation bar and select Courses
- Scroll up to the course dropdown button
- Tap the dropdown and select a course category to start exploring
Android
- Open the Babbel app
- Tap Explore in the bottom navigation bar and select Courses
- Scroll up to the course dropdown button
- Tap the chevron icon in the upper left corner of the screen
- Start exploring the course categories
Tip: Don’t forget that the first lesson in every course is free for you to try. (Depending on the language, that’s 30-80 free lessons!)
