Sign in to Babbel

 Desktop

1. Go to www.babbel.com
2. Click Log in at the top-right corner of the screen
3. Choose to log in with Facebook, Google, or your email address. To log in with your email address, create a password and then click on Log in.

Minimum requirements:

• Windows 7 or Mac OS X 10.13 and above
• An updated browser. For full functionality, we recommend Google Chrome.

 iOS

1. Download the app onto your iPhone or iPad 
2. Tap the orange Babbel icon to open the app
3. Tap on Log in 
4. Tap on Email, then enter your email address and your password
5. To change your learning language, tap on Profile, > Settings wheel > My languages

Minimum requirements:

• iOS 15 and above

  Android

1. Download the app onto your Android phone or tablet 
2. Tap the orange Babbel icon to open the app
3. Tap on Log in 
4. Tap on Email, then enter your email address and your password

Set your goals

Babbel is a great way to learn the basics, build on your skills, or prepare for specific situations like a trip. Before you start, think about what your goals are so you can find the courses that are right for you.

After you’ve set your goals, discover courses that’ll help you meet your objectives. With a Babbel subscription, you have access to all courses and all levels in your chosen language so you can study whichever topic you find interesting.

Choose a lesson

Congrats! You’ve set your goals and now you’re ready to start learning. Now, learn how to navigate to your first lesson. And don’t worry — you can change your level or topic at any time.

If you want to choose a higher level or a different topic, all you need to do is select a different lesson from the Courses menu.

  How to choose a lesson on a desktop:

1. Go to www.babbel.com
2. Log into your account
3. Click on Explore at the top of the screen and then Courses by level / Courses by theme
4. Choose a course type (for example, Newcomer)
5. Choose a course (for example, Newcomer I – Course 1)
6. Click the orange Start button to start the first lesson of the course

   How to choose a lesson on your iOS or Android device:

1. Open the Babbel app
2. tap on Explore at the bottom of the screen and then Courses.
3. Choose a course type (for example, Newcomer)
4. Choose a course (for example, Newcomer I – Course 1)
5. Open the lesson you want to take by tapping on the lesson tile 

See which courses are available

Don’t have full access to lessons? If you’re already a subscriber, here are a few things to check:

• Make sure you are logged into Babbel with the email address linked to your subscription
• Check that your display and learning language settings are correct (learn more)
• If you just paid for a subscription and are using the app, log out and log back in. To log out, tap on Profile, > Settings wheel > Settings and Log out
