Most vouchers offer access for a limited period of time and you don’t need to pay to have access. These vouchers will expire automatically and you don’t need to cancel anything. There are, however, cases when you would need to cancel if you don’t want to continue with Babbel:
Upgrades to subscriptions
When you redeem most vouchers, you’ll be offered the chance to upgrade to an All Languages subscription. If you take advantage of this, payment is made directly to Babbel and the subscription will renew until you decide to cancel.
The All Languages subscription would then merge with your voucher. This means that you’ll have access to all languages for 12 months, plus the length of the voucher, before optional auto-renewal.
For example: If you have a 6-month voucher and upgrade to the All Languages subscription, you'll then have a 12-monthly All Languages subscription with auto-renewal. The time from the voucher will be added onto the first chargeable period, meaning that you start with a one-off total of 18 months before auto-renewal.
We'll send the full details to you by email after you have made the payment.
Discount vouchers
Some vouchers offer you a reduced price on standard Babbel subscriptions. With these vouchers, you will make a payment directly to Babbel after the voucher has been redeemed. Again, the subscription will automatically renew until you decide to cancel.
